B.   RUGGED DIRTY
Im looking for more Rugged Experience and wet mud all over me sounds like a great time.  I am quite fit and like some challenges of climbing over lots of small boulders, traversing rock filled streams etc.

Personality Type:

I like climbing over things, I generally move at faster paces, but know mindfulness and being with nature will be the key on these excursions.

Accessibility:  Should be over 14, Should be fit with good sense of regular balance moving in fairly quick speeds, no real health/walking issues. Some younger adult males have tended to need to steady their adrenaline rush a bit to stay mindful and safe.

In the mood for Ruggedness?
If you are quite fit and looking for something specifically very rugged and very muddy, with more hiking and less integrated yoga, please write me and Ill let put you with a group that is similar in taste and mood, we may then tackle more rugged terrain.

  • everything we promote however will be mindful and more for adventure junkies rather then adrenaline junkies)
  • with mindfulness you can safely do more difficult things but with reckless speed, you can fall on the simplest of things and hurt yourself (ask for more photos of rugged if you wish)
*ultimately, your instructor will determine the route suited best for the group that day, depending on climate, among other things.

                                                                                     RUGGED HIKE PATH
both versions require people that don't mind getting a little dirty in the wilderness and have                                                                 normally healthy ankles to handle walking in mud and over branches or small tree stubs, and narrow hillside steps.  But for this rugged version, you should be fairly fit and never afraid of mud all over.
(i.e big retailers sell water shoes for as low as $5-10 if you did not bring your own shoes that can get dirty)

  • Physical Requirements-Rugged Version:
  •  You should be fairly athletic or fit, have a solid center of gravity and be well coordinated.  There there are no sharp drops, but we may be elevated up to 5 feet off the nearest ground at times, with cascading rocks below;  you should have decent balance, able to move mindfully and use hands while you traverse across quite a few streams, with lots of large boulders and tree stumps in them. Its a fun Indiana Jones type of hike but there are many rocks you can slip on and potential get very injured if you fall and say hit your head or tailbone on cascading rocks below.  We want to remain injury free.
  • This hike tends to have people who like to move faster in hiking speed then the other, although to hike safely you need to practice calming your natural drive and be mindful.
  • I have presented the normal information people have for this hike, but no one can determine or control for safety except you.
 B.   Nature of Rugged Jungle Hike with Yoga Intergrated
Alot more earthy dirty and vigorous, rock traversing, Indiana Jones type hike, tall waterfall.  You should be fairly athletic for this version.  More Rugged hiking, less yoga. 15 years + old.
  • Considered moderate level hiking to valley, bamboo forest, and waterfall streams.  This is a jungle hike and not a flat dry terrain.
  • You need to swing your weight on some large tree branches to cross over paths at time.  If you cannot with confidence lift yourself up the kitchen counter  with the help of something like a foot stool - (without falling back), this is not the hike version you will enjoy.
  • If you like climbing/ swinging around jungles like a kid, this hike is super fun.  If you just got long shiny acrylic nails done and care if they break, or dont want to hug possibly wet muddy boulders with your hands and body, this is not the version you would want.
